Former \u201cIdol Philippines\u201d season 2 finalist Annrain sets the tone for tender heartbreak and quiet longing in her self-titled debut extended play (EP)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The six-track EP featuring \u201cNgayong Alam Ko Na,\u201d \u201cCatch Me I\u2019m Falling,\u201d \u201cDi Ko Kayang Limutin,\u201d \u201cPara Lang Sa\u2019yo,\u201d \u201cKahit Di Mo Sabihin,\u201d and \u201cBumalik Ang Nagdaan\u201d was penned by ABS-CBN Music creatives, content, and operations head Jonathan Manalo, Christian Martinez, and StarPop label head Roque \u201cRox\u201d Santos, who also produced the record.<\/p>\n

Annrain made her mark as a finalist on \u201cIdol Philippines\u201d season 2, captivating audiences through her memorable performances of \u201cOrange Colored Sky,\u201d \u201cTill My Heartaches End,\u201d and \u201cThe Power.\u201d After her \u201cIdol PH\u201d stint, Annrain released her debut single, \u201cBakit Ka Bumitaw,\u201d in 2023, which earned a spot on Spotify\u2019s Fresh Finds Philippines playlist.<\/p>\n

She later collaborated with Geca Morales and Lyka Estrella on the PhilPop Himig Handog entry \u201cLangit Lupa,\u201d which was nominated at the 2025 Awit Awards for Best Alternative Recording and Best Collaboration.<\/p>\n

Last year, she was introduced as one of StarPop\u2019s new artists and released her versions of \u201cNgayong Pasko Magniningning ang Pilipino\u201d and \u201cFamily Is Forever\u201d for the \u201cA Kapamilya Christmas\u201d album, while continuing to make regular appearances on \u201ciWantASAP\u201d as part of the new generation of performers.<\/p>\n
